The Akabira Factory in Hokkaido, which manufactures the world's only "Made in Japan" suitcases, has a history of more than 50 years of creating advanced suitcase technologies -- a task made possible only by the skills and techniques of Japanese craftsmen. This is carried out under stringent quality controls unique to Ace for the express purpose of further improving product quality.

Silent Caster®
The newly developed Silent Caster® reduces the perceptive sound level of rolling noise by about 30％. Large, stable, quiet casters ensure smooth rolling with minimum effort, so you can roll your suitcase comfortably even in quiet places.
BEARON WHEEL
Unique, smooth-rolling BEARON WHEEL is inside of the wheels. In addition to the previous Silent function, the new wheels enable quick and easy turning. Highly durable chrome steel bearings minimize abrasive resistance.
360°Open System
The innovative 360°Open System allows the suitcase to be opened vertically or horizontally. This lets you easily take out small items in an airport or when moving from place to place, and also allows easy opening and closing in small rooms.
New Lightweight Air-Rim2® Structure
The new Air-Rim2® structure is amazingly light. The truss-shape plates allow the suitcase body to appropriately flex and absorb impacts. The Air-Rim2® offers light weight and excellent shape stability.
Caster Stopper
The caster stopper prevents the casters from moving inadvertently. It can be easily activated by pressing the button located near the handle. It is very useful in various situations, such as in a moving train, in an airport lobby with a slippery floor, or on a slope.
Antibacterial and Deodorizing Interior
The Copper Stopper® Jacquard interior fabric offers antibacterial and deodorizing effects. It helps dissipate unpleasant odors collected during traveling and suppresses mold growth during storage.
Hybrid Polycarbonate Resin
The hybrid resin composed of polycarbonate and ABS offers superb impact resistance and high durability.
Auto-return Handle
The handle features an auto-return system so it returns to the original position when you release your hand from it.
Magnesium Alloy Frame
The frame is made of lightweight and tough 96% magnesium alloy. It boasts superb shape stability and withstands many years of use.
LED Light
The LED light is activated by vibrations caused by the rolling of the suitcase. It enhances safety when moving in late afternoon and at night. Since the LED light is powered by vibration inertia, it does not require battery replacement, and is gentle to the environment.
