Setting up the mobile battery

  • Withdraw the mobile battery from the front open pocket of the suitcase.

    Next, check the three cables in the front open pocket, and then plug cable ⑬ into socket ② of the mobile battery, and cable ⑭ into socket ③ of the battery.

    *Check the direction of the USB connector, and then insert the connector rmly to the rear.

  • Store the battery to which the cables are connected in dedicated space ⑮ inside the front open pocket.

Charging the mobile battery

  • By plugging one end of the charging cable into mobile battery charging input port ⑧, and the other end into a power outlet, the mobile battery will start to be charged.

    *When all of the cables have been connected to the battery, you can charge the battery by connect ing your mobi le device to mobile battery charging input port ⑧.

    *When you wish to remove the battery and charge it directly, you can charge it from the cord reel connecting port (micro USB).

    *You can charge a battery that has a capacity of 5,000 mA (equivalent to about two smartphones).

*This product does not come wi th a charging cable (micro USB), so you must obtain one yourself.

Charging a device such as a smartphone

  • ■Charging from the cord reel
    Open the lid on the top surface, then pull out output cable ⑩ (micro USB). Next, connect the connector on the end of this cable to your smartphone, and charging will commence.

    *Suitable for charging a smartphone. (Output rating 1A)

  • ■Charging a device inside the front open pocket
    You can charge a device inside the front open pocket by connecting the USB cable for your device to output cable ⑫ (USB-A port).

    *Suitable for charging a tablet. (Output rating 2.1A)

*Use when the mobile battery is in a fully charged condition.

Setting up TrackR™

  • Withdraw TrackR™ from inside the front open pocket, and pair your smartphone with TrackR™ by using Bluetooth®.

    *Regarding the initial setup of TrackR™, the method of downloading apps, and the method of pairing TrackR™ with a s martphone, check the attached TrackR™ Setting Guide.

  • Upon completion of the initial setup of your smartphone, store TrackR™ in TrackR™ dedicated storage space ⑯ inside the front open pocket of the suitcase.

Description of TrackR™ functions

  • By using Bluetooth® to pair your luggage with your smartphone, you can prevent unexpected misplacement, disappearance, or loss due to theft.

  • ■Main features of TrackR™

    Separation alert function If you are using Bluetooth® and separate your luggage from your smartphone by more than a certain distance, an alert will sound from both your luggage and your smartphone, preventing disappearance or misplacement.

    Searching using Crowd Locate Even if you accidentally misplace your luggage in a location that is outside the communication range of Bluetooth®, you can use Crowd Locate to check the most recent location of your misplaced luggage through other TrackR™ users .

    Item ringer You can set the ringer so that it outputs an alert from both your smartphone and your luggage.

Precautions

●Do not use the cable of the cord reel while it is fully extended. This may cause an open circuit or a breakdown.

●This product does not come with a cable for charging a mobile battery, so you must obtain one yourself.

●The connector of the cord reel is micro USB. Depending upon the device that you intend to use, it may be necessary to use a conversion adapter.

〈Using a mobile battery in an aircraft〉

●This product conforms to aircraft carry-on rules stipulated by IATA (International Air Transport Association).

●When checking in your luggage, remove the mobile battery, and carry it on board.

●Before having your hand luggage inspected, you may be asked to remove the mobile battery. Follow the instructions of the airport sta.

●For safety’s sake, do not use this product when on board the aircraft. Disconnect everything from the mobile battery, including cables and the conversion adapter.

●For details, check with each airline company, and follow their instructions.

About product warranty

If any defect is found in the relevant product that you have purchased, you may receive the following warranty services during the warranty period.

●Proteca hard resin suitcase : three (3) years from the date of purchase

●Mobile battery or code reel unit : six (6) months from the date of purchase

●TrackR™ : one (1) year from the date of purchase
