■Contents concerning the mobile battery
● The mobile battery is intended exclusively for use with this suitcase.
● The mobile battery stores our stipulated amount of charge. However, this is not the same as a full charge. Also, because the internal battery discharges naturally, there are cases in which the mobile battery stops working even after a short time. We recommend, therefore, that you always charge the mobile battery prior to use.
● The charging capacity of the internal battery falls to some extent along with the passage of time. The mobile battery reaches the end of its life after about 500 charging cycles. Once the mobile battery reaches this point, it can only be used for an extremely short time after each charge.
● If you do not intend using the mobile battery for a long period, charge it prior to storage, and be sure to charge it once every six months thereafter. Note that if you do not use the mobile battery for at least six months, its storage function will be lost, and in some cases it may be impossible to recharge it.
● While the iPhone, iPod or iPad series is being charged, the remaining capacity of the lithium ion polymer contained in the mobile battery decreases. On rare occasions this may cause a message such as “You cannot use this accessory” to appear. Note, however, that this does not mean that there is a fault in this product or the iPhone, iPod or iPad. Charge this product.
● While the lithium ion polymer battery contained in the mobile battery is being charged, if charging abruptly stops it is conceivable that the protection IC has operated. In such a case, disconnect the cables from the devices to which they were connected, and charge the mobile battery.
● Depending upon the condition of use, there are some cases in which the connected devices cannot be charged, even if the LED indicator lamps are lit. In this case, charge the mobile battery.
■Contents concerning general chargers
● Sometimes, a chargeable device, whose battery has been run down to the level that the initial screen no longer appears even if you hold down the power supply button, cannot always be charged, even by holding down the power supply button. In such a case, use a genuine charger.
*Do not wait for the battery in the chargeable device to completely run down. Charge it without delay.
● Check the charged condition by observing the chargeable device. The charging level indication on some chargeable devices does not rise. If the battery level on a chargeable device does not rise even after the device has been charged for a long time, switch OFF the chargeable device, and then switch it ON again.
● Depending upon the condition of the smartphone or the battery, the charging indicator lamp of the smartphone may sometimes fail to light immediately after the charger has been connected. In such a case, after the lapse of the preliminary charging time, the lamp will light and the main charging will start.
● Depending upon the firmware version of the chargeable device, its OS, and other factors, charging may sometimes fail to take place.
● Some chargeable devices do not have a charging indicator lamp.
● Even while charging is taking place, you can make or receive telephone calls, send and receive e-mails, perform data communication, play music, play games, or use a TV phone. In these cases, the charging capacity will be reduced.
● The charging situation will change according to the chargeable device, and the conditions of use.
● Before carrying out charging, be sure to make a copy of each memory registered in the chargeable device.
● You cannot transmit and receive data using this product.
● The names of companies, products, and so on indicated in this manual are generally trademarks or registered trademarks of the respective companies.
● Accessories of this product are made of metal and plastic. It is dangerous to burn them, so when scrapping them follow the correct procedure stipulated by the local authorities. When discarding the mobile battery, place it in the “small rechargeable battery recycle box” located in front of some supermarkets, electrical stores, and hardware stores.
■Contents regarding cable connections
● Connectors are precision parts. When plugging or unplugging a connector, grasp the connector body while noting the connection direction, and be sure to insert the connector carefully in the correct direction.
● When using or storing a connector, take care not to apply an impact to it, bend it, or apply pressure to it. This may result in damage or a breakdown.
● Do not use a connector even if it is only slightly deformed or damaged. Also, do not use a connector to which foreign matter is adhering.
● Depending upon the chargeable device, the connector may sometimes be difficult to insert, so take great care when inserting it.
● After connecting this product, if you find that a connection is unstable, check the connecting point of each connector, and then reconnect the connectors.
● Do not use this product connected via a USB hub, or the like. Connect it directly to the chargeable device.
● After use, be sure to disconnect all of the connectors, and store the product in a safe place.
