Proteca suitecases were designed in collaboration with the globally active design office, nendo.
The proteca design has become more stylish and functional by Mr. Oki Sato, nendo's chief designer and CEO.

Oki Sato, the CEO of the nendo Design Office, was born in Canada in 1977. He received a Master's Degree in Architecture from the graduate school of Waseda University in 2002. In the same year, he founded the nendo Design Office. Oki was among "The 100 Most Respected Japanese" in Newsweek magazine, and also received numerous international design awards, including those from renowned magazines such as Wallpaper (UK) and Elle Deco. His representative works have been collected by the Museum of Modern Art, New York (USA) and other museums around the around.

Brand Pattern

The "p" mark serves as the motif on interior fabric designs and other locations.
These elegant original patterns somewhat resemble a traditional Japanese pattern as well as traditional patterns of other countries.

The beautiful body colors and interior colors express delicate nuances to reflect the Japanese aesthetic sensitivity. These colors are available for all product series to create brand unity. Interior and parts colors are coordinated with the body color, thus enhancing the brand image significantly.
